Alexander Nikolayevich Burganov has designed the space of the museum’s building and the concept of the exhibition. He has created an artistic image that combines the real and virtual worlds, playing with metaphors, quotes, and the “joy of recognition” that leads to an intellectual dialogue with visitors. This conversation starts with the park ensemble and the adjacent territories. The visitors see the first sculptures before they even enter the museum.

The arcade “People of Legend” adjacent to the main entrance features portraits of notable cultural figures. These include:

All of them ended up far away from their Motherland but continued to promote Russian culture and demonstrate its highest standards through their work.

The arcade is decorated with symbolic images of muses. Their names are unfamiliar to a diligent reader of Greek myths and legends. The muses of the “Noonday Sun”, “Waiting”, “Blooming Tree”, and “Accidental Joy” are clearly characters from some other legend.
