The rectangular jewelry box on display has a flap lid on two metal hinges and a key lock (the key is lost). The side walls of the lid and the case are made of wooden bars, overlapped at the corners with nails. The ribs outside are shaped. The upper part of the lid and the base are made of solid rectangular boards. On the upper part of the lid, in a wide rectangular frame with rounded corners and diamond-shaped pattern, is a diamond-shaped frame with decorative patterns consisting of small rhombuses, within which is a one-line inscription at the top: “To Irochka“. Part of the inscription is made with foil. Below is a stylized image of a large bouquet of small flowers with leaves, the stems of which are tied with a ribbon and a large bow. The middle part of the bow is made of foil. Around the diamond-shaped frame, in the corners there are four small trapezoidal frames with inscriptions inside: top left — “In memory“, top right — “From Daddy“, bottom left — “May“, bottom right — “1954“. Around the frames are floral motifs.
