The exhibit is a long single-breasted piece of outerwear — an overcoat with a turndown collar, and long sleeves that end in wide cuffs. It is made of thick khaki-colored cloth and has a hidden fastening in front: four black metal loops and four black metal hooks, with another metal loop and hook placed on the collar. On the pointed ends of the collar there are diamond-shaped overlays of soft khaki-colored pile fabric. The front has slash pockets at the hip level on the sides. On the inside, the overcoat has a short lining made of dense khaki-colored fabric, with a slash pocket on one side of the chest, under which a short strap made of lining fabric with a metal hook at the end is sewn. The overcoat is fastened with this hook using a metal loop attached to the edge of one front panel.
A loop of fabric is sewn on the inside of the collar at the back. On the back of the garment, there is a wide fold in the center from the collar to the bottom, inside which there is a long slit at the bottom. Four small round buttons on a shank with a diameter of 1.4 centimeters are sewn to one side of it. They are made of silver metal and have a convex image of a five-pointed star with a hammer and sickle in the center. On the sides of the back there are two vertical seams from the sleeves to the bottom, in which a strap made of the main fabric and consisting of three parts is sewn at the waist level. Two short and wide parts are sewn to the back, with one big button at their ends. The third part is a narrow strip with rounded ends, on which slit loops are made to fasten to buttons. On the inside of the cloth there are white colored stamps, one of them is the number 552, the others are not legible. The lining on the left side has an illegible black rectangular stamp. The left and right side pockets have small paper tags sewn inside with a partially worn off inscription in black numerals: “822[1]“.
