The antique cabinet with carved decorations consists of two sections. The upper section has one glazed door, and the lower section has two doors. Sergeyev-Tsensky stored his manuscripts in this cabinet. Nowadays, it contains his awards.
In March 1941, Sergey Sergeyev-Tsensky was awarded the Stalin Prize, 1st degree. In 1939, he was awarded the Badge of Honor on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of his writing career. On his 70th birthday, he was also awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the medal “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945” for the works written during the Great Patriotic War. The writer got his second Order of the Red Banner of Labor on his 75th birthday, and on his 80th birthday he received the highest government award — the Order of Lenin.
