The carved wooden Royal Doors were made for the Dormition Cathedral by specialists of the Scientific Restoration Workshop ‘Fresco’ (Veliky Novgorod) under the direction of the restorer Tamara Anisimova. They were created on the model of the Royal Doors of the mid-16th century from the Church of St. Isidore in Rostov the Great.
