The exhibition “My Land’s Bygone History” tells about the historical events from the moment when the village of Zimovniki appeared and until the end of the Great Patriotic War.
Among the museum exhibits, there are photographs, state awards of Zimovniki villagers, household items, weapons from the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War periods, documents, veterans’ personal belongings, and the military uniform of Major General Timofey Kruglyakov.
The works of the sculptor, Egor Derdiyashenko, are displayed in the exhibition “My Land’s Bygone History” of the Zimovniki Museum of Local History — the portrait sculptures of the Great Patriotic War commanders, colonels Efrem Makarchuk and Minnivaley Baykov. The author gave these works to the Zimovniki Museum of Local History as a present.
