The Zimovniki Museum of Local History was founded in 2000. The exhibitions of the museum are located in four spacious halls on the second floor of the National Culture Center.
The exhibitions of the Zimovniki Museum of Local History tell about the history of the district from ancient times to our time and introduce the life and ethnography of the late 19th and 20th centuries. Part of the collection is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. The museum houses weapons and uniforms, as well as photos and state awards of the village residents.
A separate exhibition is dedicated to the flora and fauna — it tells about the animals and plants of the Zimovniki district. Excursions, events, and lectures are held in the museum. The exhibition hall of the museum hosts exhibitions of other museums, private collections, artists, and local masters of decorative and applied arts.
