The ‘Museum of Yenisey’ exhibition, permanently showcased at the Yeniseysk Museum of Local History, tells visitors about the relationship between man and nature, about man himself as part of the environment, about the mythological, cultural and economic development of the mighty Yenisey, as well as about those who inhabit its banks. Residents of the Yeniseysk city played an important role in the formation of items used in the exhibition.
Among the exhibits are arrows, spears, shaman’s tambourines, bast shoes, samovar, bone spoons and even a fragment of the wall of the Yeniseysk ostrog. In addition, you can see a real mortar, a flashlight of the Dalen system, a model of a steamship, a traditional telegraph key and many other items that were present in the life of local residents at various times.
