A.I. Kytmanov Yeniseysk Museum of Local History. opened back in 1883, and for its centuries of history, it has become a real hallmark of the city. Currently, the Museum is a unique repository of natural-historical, ethnographic and archaeological collections, as well as monuments of history and culture of the region.
Guests can get acquainted with the rich expositions, which present the history of the development of Siberia, life, culture, religion and crafts of the people who live in this region. A significant part of the exhibits was collected by Alexander Kytmanov, local historian, soil scientist, public figure and founder of the Museum.
