The exhibition ‘Belozersk historical’ is dedicated to the history of Belozersk — one of the oldest cities in the Russian North. The exhibition features ceramics, hunting and fishing tools, stone and wood processing tools, as well as cult items such as a ritual axe, anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figures, and amulets. Among the exhibits one can see the layout of the Belozersky Kremlin, which is a reconstruction of the fortress of the second half of the 15th century, models of ancient temples, including reconstruction of those that have not survived to this day. Archival photographs presented at the exhibition will tell about heroic Belozersk citizens who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and participated in battles of the Russo-Japanese and Russo-Turkish wars.
Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
