Saint Peter, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Rus, the Russian metropolitan who moved his see from Vladimir to Moscow in 1325. His main feat is the struggle for the unity of the Russian state and blessing of Moscow as the centre of the Russian land.
The icon was restored by Y.S. Finogenova in the All-Union Research Institute for Restoration in 1977.
