This unique travel camera belonged to Dmitriev; it was produced by Klyachko and Ezuchevsky.
Klyachko owned camera workshops widely known in Russia in the 1880s and early 1890s. He received numerous awards at Russian and international exhibitions for his cameras. In addition to cameras, his workshops produced additional photographic equipment, for example, tripods. At various times, Klyachko collaborated with entrepreneurs Polikarpov, Ezuchevsky, Fisher.

In Klyachko’s ‘Workshops and depots of photographic accessories’ not only standard cameras for novice photographers were manufactured, but also devices for special ordersas well as prototypes. These included travel cameras made for Maxim Dmitriev.
